As reported by the site 9to5Googlethe company’s latest two connected watches, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, sometimes seem to vibrate for no reason. Usually, vibrations in Samsung watches are related to notifications, phone calls or alarms. However, according to testimonials published on Samsung forums, the vibrations in question seem completely random.

It continues to vibrate for no apparent reason, without notification, without anything. It vibrates once, then, two seconds later, three more vibrations in about a second.

Even more annoying, a user indicates that he has already been woken up when he was starting to doze off due to an unwanted vibration. Even if the problem does not seem recurring, with one or two vibrations per day, it can occur at any time.

Several causes considered by users

Several people affected by the problem indicated that they contacted Samsung customer support, without being offered a conclusive solution. However, several avenues appear to be considered, whether it be ghost notifications from WhatsApp, the mode mirroring of Google Maps or a little too generous access given to Samsung’s Health Platform application.

For the moment, Samsung has not officially communicated on the problem in question.
