Google Photos has a new section so you don’t miss any news from our albums
Google Photos is the service that has allowed us to keep all our video and image content secure and synchronized for years. Over the years it has offered more and more advanced features, and in this context a new Updates section arrives on Google Photos. The new feature that Google has just introduced concerns the graphical interface of the application, the same one that has recently seen notable updates and changes. For those who have just received the section, the application should display a banner to inform you of the news and briefly explain what it is for. Once you access the Updates section via the bell icon, you will see the entire new section with a dedicated screen. The Updates section basically collects all activity notifications related to albums synced to your account.
This section will therefore be useful for scrolling through which photos have been added to your albums, by the other participants with whom they have been shared, and also to access the various comments published by the participants in these albums. The display order is chronological, so the most recent updates will be displayed first. In addition, the Updates section will also allow us to view shared links, shared souvenir photos and conversations between users participating in the same shared album. These last two categories are accessible via the context menu of the Updates section. The novelty that we have just seen is currently being distributed for those who have the Google Photos Android application, we have no news of a release for the iOS application, at least for the moment.
