Pharmacy

It only takes one glance at the characters in the Farmagia game to know which artist is responsible for its character design. It is about Hiro Mashima, the author of the famous mangas Rave, Fairy Tail, Edens Zero or even Dead Rock. The Marvelous studio has called on its style, much appreciated by shônen manga fans, to add a hint of magic to its new action-RPG.

But Farmagia is also described as an agricultural simulation… An astonishing mix which in certain ways recalls the approach of Rune Factorywith a zest of Pokémon. The player is invited to develop your own ranch to breed your monsters before sending them to fight hordes of adversaries in the wilds of Felicidad. Only an army worthy of its name will be able to bring down the authoritarian regime of the tyrannical lord who stole the sovereign’s throne. The game is available in standard or collector version.

Mario & Luigi: The Brotherly Epic

Nintendo having future ideas, there was no question of leaving the series Mario & Luigi lagging behind while Paper Mario parade with two episodes freshly brought up to date. The other great RPG saga dedicated to the Nintendo license is therefore back in a 100% new part. The cartoon-style cutscenes fit very well with the new artistic direction of this crazy title which brings turn-based battles back into the spotlight.

In Mario & Luigi: The Brotherhood Epic, the two brothers must find a way to connect the islands of Connexia by boarding a mysterious ship. The dialogues full of humor were already one of the strong points of the series, as was the simultaneous control of the two characters in combat as well as during exploration phases. All-new allies must come and join our crew as we wander the high seas, but rumor has it that Bowser is waiting for us just around the corner… The full preview of Mario & Luigi: The Brotherhood’s Tale explains everything you need to know on this new opus.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake

It was time that Square Enix offers a new setting to what undoubtedly remains the proudest representative of Japanese role-playing games. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake takes advantage of the technique used on the excellent Octopath Traveler in order to make us forget that the legendary Dragon Quest III is already celebrating its 36th anniversary.

The use of HD-2D production was probably the most relevant choice to dust off the aura of this cult title without distorting its fundamentals. This remake is also the best way to discover the series because its story precedes the storyline of episodes 1 and 2together forming the Roto trilogy (or Elric in French).

Dozens of different vocations allow heroes to be specialized in this or that class, this remake including for the first time the job of “monstrologer” with unique abilities. It is even possible to recruit enemies to then fight in the monster arena. Our preview asks the question frankly: what if Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake was the ultimate version of one of the best RPGs of all time?

LEGO Horizon Adventures

Despite the dozens of variations already released around the LEGO video game franchise, it is difficult to resist the desire to see what this one can offer. LEGO Horizon Adventures turns Aloy’s world into colorful bricks to better deconstruct and recreate it in a completely new form.

The bestiary of the games Horizon: Zero Dawn and Horizon: Forbidden West seems to lend itself surprisingly well to the exercise since creatures both mechanical and organic explode into a thousand pieceswhich should constitute valuable resources to recover.

The title is also widely customizable and the adventure can be played with 2 players in cooperation: either in local mode or via online games. LEGO Horizon Adventures should offer real replayability with its modified levels allowing you to unlock new rewards once the game is completed.

Stray

Holder of numerous awards (including that of “best independent game” at the Game Awards 2022), the little cat from Stray finally deigns to show the tip of his mustache on Nintendo Switch. This highly anticipated port for those who have not had the chance to play it on competing machines offers significant new visibility to the work of BlueTwelve Studio. The software is distinguished by its cyberpunk universe as much as by the inventiveness with which it uses its four-legged hero to reinvent the way of interacting with the environment.

MySims : Collection cosy

Exclusively on Nintendo Switch, MySims: Cozy Collection brings together the two Wii episodes in a compilation aimed at young people. All content in the MySims and MySims Kingdom games has been reworked to adapt to this new support. But the main objective always remains to set about rebuilding a medieval city or kingdom while making new friendships with the inhabitants. The customization aspect is obviously at the heart of the proposition, which translates into tons of objects to unlock to let the creative fiber that perhaps rests inside you speak.
