Tickets to attend Oasis concerts, put online for fans who were unable to take advantage of the initial sale, are being sold for thousands of pounds.

The British rock band has created an “exclusive invitation” for concerts on September 27 and 28, 2025 at Wembley Stadium in London, after outrage over problems with the initial sale on the main sales site, Ticketmaster .

The Gallagher brothers explained that they were unaware of the “dynamic pricing” system their fans faced. This is a strategy that allows prices to be adjusted to variations in demand and can thus lead to an explosion in prices.

Those who received the invitation to the concerts at Wembley Stadium had the opportunity to buy their tickets on Saturday. However, not all fans were lucky enough to get the prize, as tickets were sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

On Saturday morning, standard tickets were put online on Viagogo at 1,162 pounds (around 1,375 euros). The VIP pass was sold for 2,614 pounds (more than 3,000 euros). The observation was identical on other resale sites.

However, standard tickets were officially put on sale at 151.25 pounds (179 euros) and premium tickets, at 506.25 pounds (nearly 600 euros).

Viagogo deemed its resale practices legal and said it was a way to deal with fans frustrated by problems online.

“Ticket holders are strongly advised to resell them only via Ticketmaster or Twickets,” warned a Ticketmaster spokesperson, adding that this helps limit prices, in particular to prevent solicitation.
