It took Microsoft some time, but here it is, the first Call of Duty games are arriving in the Xbox cloud via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate this month.
Three Call of Duty games in the Xbox Game Pass Cloud offer
As Microsoft celebrates the 1 year anniversary of the effective acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the manufacturer and publisher announces the arrival of the first Call of Duty games in its Cloud offering, today only accessible via an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Three Call of Duty games are affected.
- Call of Duty : Black Ops 6
- Call of Duty : Modern Warfare III
- Call of Duty : Warzone
These three games will be available and playable in the Xbox Cloud from October 25, the release date of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. We were wondering during the summer of 2024 why Activision games were not available in the Xbox Cloud , and we can therefore only rejoice at the news. Since the acquisition of Activision Blizzard to strengthen Xbox, only Diablo IV remains that is not yet playable in the Cloud.
As a reminder, the Xbox Cloud has still been in beta since it was created, which is already four years. We don’t know what still bothers Microsoft to remove this mention, but the fact remains that the offer allows you to play more than 400 games on almost any device, and without the need for an Xbox console or a PC.
