The DJI Air 3S has been leaked extensively in the weeks leading up to its launch, and important details are already available. According to previous reports from early October, the drone will feature a dual-camera system – a 50 MP wide-angle lens paired with a 48 MP mid-telephoto lens – providing more options for aerial photography. Its video capabilities will include 4K video at 60 frames per second and 4K slow motion at 120 frames per second, as well as advanced shooting formats such as 10-bit D-log-M and HLG.

Other leaked specifications confirm a flight time of 45 minutes, 42 GB internal storage and support for MicroSD cards up to 512 GB. The Air 3S will also feature an Obstacle Detection System LiDAR-based obstacle detection system, which is a huge safety improvement over its predecessor, the DJI Air 2S (currently $894 at Amazon).

With a launch event scheduled for tomorrow, October 15, expectations are high. Pricing will likely start at €1,359 (~$1,492) with the DJI RC 2 remote control.
