A design that gets to the point
Aesthetically, the Huawei MatePad SE 11″ is classic and that’s not a bad thing. We are faced with the recipe for an Android tablet: a thin and well-finished device, with a solid aluminum chassis. The brand wanted to make a device practical, and with its 475 g well distributed and its 6.9 mm thickness, the Huawei tablet can easily be used with one hand and taken anywhere with you without difficulty.
At the front, we discover an 11-inch screen with fairly pronounced borders on four sides, but still within what is available at this price. It has an LCD display with a definition of 1,900 by 1,200 pixels. The tablet is pleasant to look at for your content. But expect low brightness (400 nits) if you are in the sun.
Effective for common uses
Inside the Chinese firm’s slate, we find the Kirin 710A chip coupled with 6 GB of RAM. A very young chip, but which is sufficient for most classic uses such as: browsing the Internet, consulting social networks, binge watcher your favorite series, but without being able to launch the most demanding games. On the software side, it integrates Huawei’s in-house OS: Harmony OS. An interface that promises to deliver a better user experience and productivity. To finish on autonomy, the Chinese brand integrates a 7,700 mAh accumulator on its slate. You will be able to use it throughout the day without problem to read the press, watch videos on YouTube, consult social networks, etc. A durable tablet, which has a recharge of only 22.5 W.
