Football: the Swiss wear shoes with Nike and Louis Vuitton

No luxury car to bring the players summoned with the Swiss team for the two matches against Serbia and Denmark in the Nations League. Murat Yakin’s protégés opted for the shuttles set up by the ASF to reach Saint-Gall. Which did not prevent certain footballers from standing out in terms of clothing style (certainly not as much as the Frenchman Ibrahima Konaté). Especially with branded shoes (see video above).

Starting with Louis Vuitton. Geneva’s Zeki Amdouni (Benfica), Fribourg’s Yvon Mvogo () and Cédric Zesiger (Wolfsburg), as well as Fabian Rieder (Stuttgart) trust the French fashion brand. Mvogo paid 1300 francs for its LV Trainer White Black White. According to the manufacturer, seven hours of work are necessary to sew these grained calfskin sneakers. Amdouni and Rieder wear sneakers in the same price range, while Zesiger’s cost less than 1,000 francs.

Breel Embolo, who crashed his Lamborghini in December 2022, likes to be talked about. His Nike Air Jordan High Travis Scott are estimated at around 1,500 francs. Much more than the Nike Air Force of Vaudois Dan Ndoye (Bologna), Genevois Ulisses Garcia (), Valais Edimilson Fernandes () and Philipp Köhn (Monaco), which cost around 200 francs.

Manuel Akanji opted for Marni Pablo High, which cost more than 800 francs. Joël Monteiro (Young Boys) and his Bape Sta Nostalgic Yellow Green, as well as Andi Zeqiri (Genk) and his Maison Mihara Yasuhiro MMY also stand out, sartorially speaking. The price of their shoes is estimated at around 400 CHF.

The captain of the Swiss team, Granit Xhaka, is not the one who invests the most in his shoes. Its Acrylic Black from Numeris can be bought for less than 200 francs. The Adidas from Fribourgeois Michel Aebischer and the Veja from Valais Vincent Sierro () cost even less (around 150 francs). But the most reasonable is Nico Elvedi (Borussia Mönchengladbach), with Pumas worth around a hundred francs. A sum that he did not have to pay, since his shoes came from the Nati equipment manufacturer.
