WatchOS 11.0.1 finally fixes battery and screen bugs on Apple Watch

Apple unveiled its new Watch Series 10 and Ultra 2 connected watches in black titanium during its September keynote. Unfortunately for consumers, no Apple Watch Ultra 3 or SE 3 to get their hands on. The two connected watches will most likely be released in 2025. In the meantime, there is no shortage of new features on Watch Series 10, Ultra 2 and other products compatible with watchOS 11. However, some annoying bugs were detrimental to the user experience. Apple has just fixed them with the watchOS 11.0.1 update.

WatchOS 11.0.1 fixes several important bugs reported by the community

This is an update that owners of Apple’s latest smartwatches should appreciate. The American manufacturer has just released the watchOS 11.0.1 update. It does not bring any major new features, but on the other hand, it corrects some disabling bugs. The malfunction that caused the battery to discharge much faster than expected is now a thing of the past. Several Series 7, Series 10 and Ultra 2 users have complained about this on Reddit since the launch of watchOS 18.

The bug that prevented the touchscreen from responding on Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 also disappears. The community should appreciate that the apple brand ultimately did not take too long to react to its complaints. Thanks to the disappearance of these two annoying problems, you can now enjoy all the new features of watchOS 18 without problems, hoping that the update does not bring others.

• Apple Watch may restart unexpectedly for some users
• Music app may stop unexpectedly while loading media files
• Messages may pause unexpectedly when you reply to a message with shared Apple Watch faces

Note that Apple has also just deployed iOS 18.0.1, iPad 18.0.1, macOS 15.0.1 and visionOS 2.0.1 updates.
