Discover our solar system differently with this new collection of comics!

Éditions Glénat, a house specializing in the publication of comics, launched at the beginning of the year a new collection of comics built around one of the greatest subjects of fascination of our universeuniverse : the solar systemsolar system.

Discover this collection!

Composed of eight volumes, the third of which has just been published this Wednesday, October 2, this collection aims to answer all the questions that assail us as soon as we raise the eyeseyes towards the starsstars : how far from Earth is the planet Mars? What are the other planets that make up the solar system?

To make the discovery of our solar system even more lively and exciting, readers are encouraged to follow a team ofastronautsastronauts and scientists who set out to explore the planets that make it up using a spaceship of particularly advanced technology (and this is the only element of fiction present in this collection).

This series of comic albums was supervised by scientists from the Observatory – PSL. The objective: at a time of major advances and “the resurgence of the conquest of space which pushes us all to know where we come from” (Bruno Lecigne, screenwriter of the volumes), this collection aims to popularize in a fun and didactic way the solar system, to dissect the current state of scientific knowledge and make each of us want to raise our heads to the sky.

Each volume in the collection focuses on one of the planets in our solar system. A specific file prepared by the researchers accompanies each of them to complete the elements mentioned in the comic strip.

The first two volumes, Mars et JupiterJupiterhave already been available in bookstores since March 27.

The third, SaturnSaturnhas also just been published. It will be the subject of a specific article available soon on Futura.
