Winner of several watch design awards, Manuel Emch demonstrates considerable know-how in the field of building and consolidating brand identities – skills that he amply demonstrated at Jaquet Droz, notably by initiating and by designing two icons of watchmaking: the emblematic Grande Seconde and La Machine à Ecrire le Temps.
He then spent a few years at Romain Jerome, propelling the brand to the heights with his “DNA” watch concept before joining Louis Erard five years ago. With the arrival of Manuel, the brand was able to create watches defined by their rarity rather than their price.
In fact, Louis Erard has redefined the codes of mid-range watchmaking (increasingly neglected by the big names). His goal? Break the rules (like Audemars Piguet but at reasonable prices), take risks and offer watches “ as bold as those who wear them » assures the brand in a recent press release.
