The Norwegian cross-country skiers crushed with all their class the mass start contested in the World Cup in Engadine, over 20 km and skating. Victory went to the inevitable Johannes Hösflot Klaebo, with the best Swiss Jonas Baumann ranking 12th.

Already a winner in the sprint on Saturday in Graubünden, Klaebo did it again less than 24 hours later. He flew through the proceedings in the final race on Sunday to beat his runner-up Iver Tildheim Andersen by 1”3. First non-Norwegian, Frenchman Jules Lapierre ranked 7th at 14”1.

Eighth in a mass start contested in a classic a week earlier in Les Rousses, Jonas Baumann confirmed the excellence of his form with his 12th place. Grison conceded 34”7 to Klaebo. On the French side, Candide Pralong finished 20th (at 1’02”3) and Antonin Savary 31st (at 1’54”2).

Among the women, the victory was also Norwegian with first place for Astrid Öyre Slind. In the Swiss camp, Nadine Fähndrich signed the best result with a 24th place.
