The first defendant was arrested during an operation carried out in coordination with elements of the Royal Gendarmerie in a forest area near Benslimaneunderlines the same source, specifying that the searches carried out allowed the seizure in his possession of 1,064 tablets of the type “Ecstasy” and 2 kg of chirain addition to two bladed weapons and a sum of money suspected of coming from this criminal activity.
The second operation, carried out in coordination with the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST)resulted in the arrest of the two other suspects, immediately after their arrival at Meknes on board a public transport coach coming from a town in the north of the Kingdom. The searches carried out resulted in the seizure of 1,064 tablets of type “Ecstasy” and 2 kg of chira which were in their possession.
The three accused were subjected to thejudicial investigation carried out under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to elucidate the ins and outs of this case and arrest the other accomplices in these criminal acts.
