This Thursday, Xbox held one of its occasional “Developer Direct” in which the American publisher highlights a handful of games and their development team. With its latest Developer Direct, Xbox will have managed to pull out all the stops with expected new game previews and some big surprises. Indeed, the event opened with the announcement of Ninja Gaiden 4a major new opus for the saga, co-developed by Team Ninja and Platinum Games. Everything was accompanied by the shadowdrop of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black : a remaster of Ninja Gaiden 2 under Unreal Engine 5. For the rest, Doom : The Dark Ages was able to present in detail some of its new gameplay mechanics including his chainsaw shieldwithout forgetting the announcement of its release date, revealed on May 15. South of Midnightthe next game from Compulsion, was also able to highlight its game mechanics and its unique artistic direction before its release on April 8, while Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33 also stood out, revealing a release for April 24, 2025.
