Amanekh suspended for three months, Zarco receives warning

During its weekly meeting, the National Management Committee (CNG) of wrestling took significant decisions in terms of discipline. Among them is the suspension of wrestler Amanekh for a period of three months. This sanction was announced in a January 22 publication by the Record newspaper.

On January 1, Amanekh faced Thiaat in a fight where the victory was awarded to him after consultation with the VAR. However, Thiatou Daouda Fall contested this verdict by filing an appeal before the Regulations and Disciplinary Commission (CRD). The latter agreed with Thiatou Daouda Fall, pushing Amanekh to express his dissatisfaction with the CNG, which earned him a summons.

The case of wrestler Zarco was also examined following his victory against Gris , reported by Les Échos. His “unsportsmanlike behavior”, described by the newspaper, involved inappropriate gestures after the fight, for which he was questioned. After admitting the facts, apologizing and explaining that it was an attempt to create excitement in the arena, Zarco finally received a firm warning from the CRD.

This information was read on the website of our colleagues at Kawtef, highlighting the decisions of the CNG which aim to maintain order and discipline in the world of Senegalese wrestling.
