Honor has ostensibly designed its new mid-rangers to strive to be the most distinctive camera smartphones but they have nothing to do with the ongoing battery revolution Android battery revolution with a capacity of only 5 300 mAh, even in their latest Ultra model.
In all honesty, the OEM hasn’t yet crossed the 6,000 mAh mark in its latest flagship series either. The 400 series, however, is now tipped to surpass even the Magic7 RSR in this area.
The upcoming lineup could be one that’s now tied to a refreshed 7,000mAh model from typically accurate leaker Digital Chat Station.
This could be a significant boost for the Honor 400 Ultra and/or Pro, although they may have to sacrifice their predecessors’ 80W wireless charging, which is currently best in class wireless charging 80W wireless charging of their predecessors, if the current 7,000 mAh mid-range model, the mid-range trailblazer.
The Honor 400 Pro and 400 Ultra are also expected to adopt the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, perhaps because the 200 Pro which could share their mid-year launch window was equipped with the same Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
As a result, we can expect to see the 400 series as a whole in or around May 2025, perhaps with even more oddly shaped devices to go along with their supposedly much larger batteries .
