From “average” today Monday January 13, 2025, the air quality deteriorates this Tuesday January 14, passing to “degraded” over a large majority of the department, and even to downright “bad” in Tours and on the fringe west and north-west of Indre-et-Loire, due to the presence of fine particles (diameter less than 2.5 µm) suspended in the air, indicates Lig'Air, the air quality observatory in the Centre-Val de Loire region.

Wednesday January 15, the index will be “bad” across the entire department.
