New revamped range of AI PCs at Dell

Dell is reorganizing its range with its new AI PCs. The manufacturer now offers three main categories of machines: Dell for play, school and work » ; Dell Pro for “professional-level productivity” » and Dell Pro Max for “maximum performance ». Focus on the last two ranges.

Versatile laptops, workstations and desktops, this new range offers “the benefits of embedded AI to foster collaboration, creativity and productivity. » In each of the categories, beyond the entry level, there is a “More” level » which offers the most scalable performance and a “Premium” level» which offers the nec plus ultra in terms of mobility and design.

The choice of AMD, Intel and Qualcomm processors

New AI PCs incorporate NPU technology to deliver AI performance tailored to the specific requirements of each workload. Dell expands its Intel range with Core Ultra processors (series 2), extends its AMD offering with AMD Ryzen processors, and continues its collaboration with Qualcomm. Dell said to offer expanded possibilities for using Copilot+ AI on PC, thus targeting a larger number of users.

Dell Pro PCs feature Intel Core Ultra (series 2) processors and AMD Ryzen processor options, featuring an NPU, CPU, and GPU.

  • Dell Pro 13/14 Premium : this laptop is available in screen sizes of 13 and 14 inches and is the thinnest and lightest in the Pro portfolio, starting at 1.07 kg. It offers up to 21.2 hours of battery life and 51% more runtime than its predecessor, says the manufacturer. It offers optimized performance to make tasks smooth: up to 36% in multitasking, 19% in single-tasking, 82% in graphics rendering and AI 3.5 times faster than the previous generation, adds Dell. It is equipped with an 8MP camera with HDR.
  • Dell Pro 13/14/16 More : This consumer professional laptop is offered in a variety of configurations, form factors and screen sizes (13, 14 and 16 inches in 16:10 aspect ratio), all on the same BIOS system to simplify the command and management for IT services. USB, HDMI, and Thunderbolt port options, along with 5G and Wi-Fi 7, provide connectivity and flexibility no matter where you work. It is also designed to withstand rigorous MIL-STD testing, ensuring park reliability.
  • Dell Pro 14/16 : the entry to the range Dell Pro delivers essential performance for everyday productivity. Available in 14 and 16 inches, these laptops are available with a metallic finish in Platinum Silver and a laser textured finish in Magnetite (dark gray). The 14-inch is intended to be the lightest laptop in its category. With a 16:10 format and a low power consumption screen, battery life can be optimized.

Dell Pro Max

This new range offers increased performance from one generation to the next thanks to the new thermal design patented by Dell. PCs include Intel Core Ultra Series 2 and AMD Ryzen processor options as well as professional graphics cards. It is possible to run intensive workloads such as animation, video rendering, training AI and refining large language models (LLM), while maintaining security and managing costs.

  • Dell Pro Max 14/16 : The new 16-inch size provides ample display space and supports complex applications requiring high performance. The spacious screen offers QHD+ resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and optional touchscreen. With the NVIDIA RTX 2000 graphics card, designers, engineers and architects have the performance required for creative applications, for rendering or AI inference. The models Dell Pro Max Plus and Premium will be available later this year.

  • Dell Pro Max desktops : These scalable tower PCs meet the requirements of industrial applications in areas such as architecture, design, graphics and data analysis, and lightweight AI workloads. All three models are available with NVIDIA and AMD graphics options to run the most intensive tasks. THE Dell Pro Max Tower delivers exceptional single-tasking performance, while the Dell Pro Max Micro and Dell Pro Max Slim offer power in a compact chassis, perfect for restricted environments.
