The Thomson Go is a television on wheels, on battery, with excellent ergonomics, and which can follow you everywhere at home! If you like this concept, this model is currently cheaper: 499 euros compared to 599 euros base.
If this concept seems unfamiliar to you, LG popularized it with its StandbyME. This TV, mounted on a rolling stand, is designed to be easily moved from room to room and is perfect for home entertainment. The only problem is that the price is quite high. Fortunately, other manufacturers offer a good alternative, such as Thomson with its Mobile Smart Go TV which is on sale for less than 500 euros at Boulanger.
What is Thomson Go?
- A TV mounted on a stand on wheels to transport it everywhere
- A battery that offers a battery life of 4 hours
- Android TV in charge
Initially at 599 euros, the Thomson Go television (32HA4M44) from 2024 can cost you 499 euros at Boulanger, thanks to an ODR of 100 euros.
A TV suitable for small spaces, that follows you everywhere
If you are a fan of large televisions, you will have to move on. Here, the Thomson Go has a 32-inch diagonal, which displays a simple HD definition (1,366 x 768 pixels). Obviously, it is not the best quality, but it is sufficient to be used as an extra TV, or a first connected TV for a teenager or in a bedroom with occasional use.
It is above all designed to adapt to many everyday situations. For example, in the kitchen, you can use it to stream a video recipe. It can very well end up in your office as a second monitor, or even use it for a fitness session, or in your bath watching a good series. Its ergonomics offers quite a few advantages, because it can be adjusted in almost all directions, with 360 degree rotation, but also in height, tilting forwards and backwards.
Add to that that under the base of the stand on which it is mounted, there are casters which allow it to be easily transported from room to room.
A smart TV with good endurance
This model is powered by the Android TV operating system, thus offering access to numerous streaming applications such as Netflix, Prime Video or Disney+. It is also possible to stream content from a smartphone or tablet via the Chromecast protocol. The presence of Google Assistant offers practical voice control, as for its remote control, the buttons are backlit which simplifies navigation in the dark.
Finally, one of the other features of the Thomson Go is that it runs on battery power. This is not its only power mode, it can of course simply be plugged in. It has around 4 hours of battery life, which allows you to watch a classic film, follow a cooking recipe or just surf the Internet.
