Photos of what appears to be the Switch 2’s motherboard have been posted on Reddit. The opportunity to learn more about the technical sheet of the next Nintendo console.
The Switch 2 will probably be the console Nintendo the least surprising from the Japanese manufacturer. Although it has not yet been officially revealed by the latter, the leaks are so numerous that we already know almost everything there is to know about the device. Its design has been spotted several times, whether through 3D prints or supposed photos of the platform itself. The same goes for the technical sheet, even if there are still some aspects that are uncertain.

This time, it’s definitely the Switch 2 motherboard that an Internet user posts on the social network Reddit. Very credible, there is every reason to believe that the photos show the component in question. Thanks to the photos, we can deduce certain things about the characteristics of the console. The observation is clear: this confirms most of the already known rumors.

Among the most remarkable elements, we note a Nvidia graphics chip marked “SNW8VF”. In summary, its power would be equivalent to RTX 3000 series graphics cards released in 2022. This is no surprise, Nintendo prefers to work with technologies that have had time to prove themselves.
On the memory side, we find 2 puces SK Hynix stamped “H58GE6AK8BX107”. This is not a known reference, more of a code name. Each has a capacity of 6 GB, for a total of 12 GB. This is the amount on which the majority of rumors and other leaks agree.
Finally, note the presence of a card readerwhich confirms the backward compatibility of the Switch 2. Likewise, 2 USB-C ports are present. The first below the console, to connect it to the dock like the current Switch, the second above to recharge it when placed in “table” mode. A nice addition. According to the latest information, the Switch 2 should be released on March 28, 2025.
