Céline and her daughters are launching an innovative educational game to promote women scientists among young people.
In Castanet, an original initiative is born: the Petit Grain de Femmes association, created by Céline, a genomics researcher and data scientist, accompanied by her two daughters, Margaux and her younger sister. Together, they embarked on an adventure that aims to highlight inspiring female role models to encourage young girls to take an interest in science and technology.
The association’s first project is an educational card game highlighting remarkable women scientists. Designed using artificial intelligence technologies, such as ChatGPT and DALLE, this game aims to arouse the curiosity of young people while offering them examples of inspiring journeys.
This game is not limited to presenting scientific figures: it also introduces the key concepts of the data scientist profession, raises awareness of cybersecurity and explains how artificial intelligence algorithms work. With a balance between education and entertainment, players, in small groups, must associate pairs of cards while being careful to avoid the “trap card”!
Margaux, Céline’s eldest daughter, plays a key role in this adventure by passionately hosting the association’s social networks on Instagram and Facebook. Thanks to their joint efforts, the association launched a crowdfunding campaign on Ulule, making it possible to print and distribute these card games to schools and associations from the start of the school year in September.
The crowdfunding was a great success, proof that this project responds to a crucial need: to offer young girls female role models in fields that are still too often dominated by men. Céline and her daughters hope to inspire vocations and change mentalities. Petit Grain de Femmes demonstrates that it is possible to change the world, one card at a time. Follow this great initiative on their social networks to not miss any of their news and support their upcoming projects!
