GTA 6, a game eagerly awaited by gamers
For more than eight years, Rockstar Games has remained silent about the release of GTA 6. Despite this discretion, elements of the game reportedly recently leaked.
Last year, leaks, well that not confirmedhave sparked numerous rumors on social networks. Rockstar, regularly contacted, has still not published an official press release.
Last December, a video shared on their Twitter account nevertheless sowed doubt. Featuring a neon logo reminiscent of Vice City, this post has been misinterpreted as a teaser for GTA 6.
It was actually a promotion for GTA Online. These leaks therefore had caused a reaction by Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, parent company of Rockstar Games.
He expressed his concerns about the negative impact of the leaks on the development team. Calling these events frustrating and upsetting for the creators who have been working on the game for years.
According to journalist Tom Henderson, Rockstar could officially reveal GTA 6 by the end of 2023. With a release planned for 2025.
An announcement for 2025?
This announcement, described as the greatest in the history of video games, would be accompanied of a communication spectacular. Like the franchise's previous marketing campaigns.
Some media even suggest a grandiose event planned for October or November 2025. However, Rockstar has neither confirmed nor denied these reports.
True to form, the company generally unveils its games two years before their official release. If these speculations are confirmed, the announcement could therefore take place very soon.
As for rapper 50 Cent, his publications enigmatic on Instagram suggest that he could be involved in the project. A hypothesis which reinforces the excitement around GTA 6, the development of which seems to be shrouded in mystery…

“Every time we set a price, we want to make sure it's good news for the consumerthat the experience far exceeds the asking price. That’s the goal,” he said.
These statements, although apparently calming, must be reconsidered. In a context where the prices of AAA games (video game blockbusters) have increased significantly since the pandemic.
Sony exclusives for PlayStation 4 and 5 now have a base price from 80 euros. A policy followed by Microsoft for its titles on Xbox and PC.
Some analysts predict that GTA 6 could therefore become the first game to sell for 90 euros for its standard edition. The special editions could well exceed 100 euros, or even reach 150 euros.
Note that Take-Two had already paved the way for these high prices in 2021, in offering NBA 2K21 at 80 euros. It remains to be seen whether this rumor is true.
