Children (and some adults too, in fact) eagerly open a box in their Advent calendar every day. The digital world watches with curiosity the announcements made every day by OpenAI. Since December 5, the creator of ChatGPT has announced a new service every day around 7 p.m. Swiss time. “Every day of the week we will have a livestream with a launch or demo, some major new features and some Christmas gifts. We have some really good stuff to share, I hope you enjoy! Merry Christmas,” announced Sam Altman, director of OpenAI, on X at the beginning of December. And this Friday evening, the company unveiled the last of its twelve December innovations, new models, o3 and o3 Mini, likely, according to society, to get closer to the grail, an artificial intelligence capable of “reasoning”.
