A waterproof and ultra-smooth smartphone
The Nubia Z70 Ultra smartphone is a smartphone with an assertive look, with its flat edges, its marked angles and its photo block which takes up a significant amount of space on the back of the device. This model therefore does not stand out for its discretion, nor for its lightness (it weighs 228 g), but rather for its originality. Note also its particularly solid body since it is IP68 certified: it is therefore capable of resisting dust and immersion up to 1 meter deep for at least 30 minutes.
On the screen side, this Z70 Ultra has a 6.85-inch Amoled panel, benefiting from a definition of 2,688 x 1,216 pixels and above all a refresh rate of 144 Hz; suffice to say that in addition to the infinite contrasts and deep blacks that this screen offers, the latter is also able to promise exemplary fluidity, in navigation or even during gaming sessions. And to top it all off, the panel covers the entire DCI-P3 spectrum; we are therefore entitled to a very wide range of colors displayed, which allows us to enjoy vibrant and realistic images.
Boosted by Snapdragon 8 Elite
In the bowels of the Nubia Z70 Ultra, we find a recent Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which integrates Oryon, the new very high-power CPU from Qualcomm which displays considerable performance gains, particularly in video games (up to 50%). The Snadragon 8 Elite more precisely embeds not one, but two very high performance Oryon cores (up to 4.32 GHz) and six high performance cores (up to 3.53 GHz). In short, the smartphone will be able to be very fast, including for gaming. On the software side, the device runs Nebula AI OS, based on Android 15, which, as its name suggests, offers a dose of AI for facilitate certain tasks.
As for its photo part, the Z70 Ultra is equipped with three sensors on the back: a main Sony IMX 9 of 50 Mpx (with 35 mm lens and variable aperture!), an ultra wide-angle of 50 Mpx and a 64 Mpx telephoto lens. Great versatility, then.
An Apple feature in Android?
But let’s not forget to mention its button which strongly resembles the Camera Control of the iPhone 16, which simply allows you to open the camera, modify the camera settings and obviously take photos. On this Z70 Ultra, this button also has a two-step shutter function: one click to focus, then another to take the photo. It’s really practical for capturing a special moment much more quickly.
Finally, in terms of autonomy, the Nubia Z70 Ultra contains a 6,150 mAh battery, which should more than guarantee a good day of use. 80W fast charging is also included.
