Trend Micro Incorporated is pleased to have achieved its results in the latest round of evaluations conducted by MITER Engenuity (MITRE Engenuity – ATT&CK® Evaluations). The latter reflect Trend’s position as a pioneering player in terms of Threat Intelligence. The features of its integrated cybersecurity platform Trend Vision One quickly detected the different intermediate stages of an attack, across various threat categories.

MITER’s ATT&CK® Evaluations evaluate a solution’s ability to detect targeted attacks that leverage the behavior of known adversaries. This approach more closely reflects critical attacks that may occur in the real world. This year, the assessments incorporated smaller-scale simulations for a more nuanced and focused examination of the defensive capabilities of cybersecurity solutions in the market. Trend achieved remarkable results in each of the scenarios, which simulated ransomware attacks against Linux and MacOS, as well as attacks from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea targeting MacOS.
