Samsung is reportedly just over a month away from unveiling the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra worldwide. Still, speculation about what the company might have in store for the next generation is already rife. For example, it was recently suggested that Samsung might even consider adopting MediaTek’s Dimensity chipsets to reduce costs.
To that end, it’s possible the company has already employed a similar tactic for this year’s Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S10 Plus ($824.99 at Amazon). However, leaker @Jukanlosreve suggests that may not be the case. The X account (formerly Twitter) instead reports that Samsung will use Exynos chips for the entire Galaxy S26 range.
For reference, @Jukanlosreve put the words “significantly” in quotes. However, he did not attribute this information to any particular source. Either way, the Galaxy S26 series could be one of several high-end smartphones from Samsung that could ditch Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips in the coming year. Likewise, it is suggested that an increased reliance on Exynos chips could reach the Galaxy Z Flip7 and not just its cheaper Fan Edition counterpart.
