An initiative inspired and adapted to the Quebec market
Inspired by the Toronto Auto Show model, this Summit is distinguished by its approach which highlights the particularities of the Quebec market. According to Jacques Olivier Jr, this initiative aims above all to strengthen the links between the CCAM and its members while creating a space conducive to exchanges and networking. This first meeting is intended to be a starting point for collectively meeting the current and future challenges of the industry.
Crucial issues for the future of dealerships
The Summit program will address current issues, such as the electrification of vehicles, which is transforming not only sales, but also the income of mechanical workshops. Invited experts, including international speakers, will share solutions and concrete examples to manage this transition.
Law 30, planned for 2026, constitutes another central issue. This legislative change will affect the distribution of financial products such as insurance and extended guarantees. The Summit will provide a platform to discuss the necessary adjustments to minimize impacts on dealers.
Economic analysis will also be in the spotlight, with forecasts for 2025 covering interest rates, inflation and their impact on consumer purchasing behavior.
An enriching international perspective
Guests such as Thomas Chieux, a renowned European market expert, and Bruce Rosen, a specialist in Asian markets, will join the CCAM Summit to bring international perspectives to the issues raised during the day. Their interventions will highlight the arrival of Chinese manufacturers on the North American market and their potential impact on local dealers.
An event designed to last
This first Summit is much more than just a one-off event. Jacques Olivier Jr hopes that it will become a tradition, strengthening collaboration between CCAM members and promoting better preparation in the face of industry transformations. With a target of 200 participants for this inaugural edition, this event promises to be a key moment for automotive professionals.
