When looking for a portable SSD, we generally opt for a model that is both fast and easily transportable. The ESD310C perfectly meets these two criteria. Transcend has succeeded in designing a model that is as compact as it is fast — its flow rates are among the best at the moment. Flawless!
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).
An alternative
Corsair's EX100U 1TB is identical in every way to the 2TB model we tested. This is undoubtedly one of the best portable SSDs around. It not only offers a very compact design that makes it easy to transport, but also excellent writing and reading speeds. In short, everything you expect from a portable SSD. It just lacks a USB-A adapter for more versatility.
