There are still 2 months left before we see it arrive Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2, but on Saber Interactive’s side, it’s all hands on deck, so much so that we learned that the studio prefers to cancel the beta that was planned for this summer to focus on optimizing the game, just before its release. It must be said that the Setting up a beta would have required resources and investment from the development team, who were asked to make the final efforts to ensure that the copy delivered on September 9th would be perfect.

Space Marine 2 is almost ready. We are now fully focused on optimizing, polishing, and fixing any remaining issues before launch on September 9th. This means we will not be launching a public live beta, as this would prevent the development teams from preparing for the full launch, and our priority is to ensure the best possible experience at launch.

To make up for it, Relic studio has published a dev diary, to learn a little more about the game, including the acting of the actors who lent their features and voices to the different characters in the game. It’s also an opportunity to see new gameplay footage, still as edgy, and to remind us that the in-house 3D engine has made it possible to set up a system capable of displaying hundreds of enemies on the screen, without ever slowing down the action.
