Treyarch has just deployed a small update for Black Ops 6, including the return of the possibility of using double XP tokens obtained in Modern Warfare III and Warzone.

At the end of last week, we discovered with surprise that all the double XP tokens from Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III had been transferred to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. However, this was not in reality than a UI bug, and Treyarch quickly removed the ability to activate them since Black Ops 6. Fortunately, the studio will backtrack.
Double XP tokens from Modern Warfare III and Warzone will soon be able to be used in Black Ops 6
Following the outcry from players, frustrated at only being able to use their Modern Warfare III and Warzone tokens in Black Ops 6 for a short period of time, the studio quickly confirmed that it will soon be possible to take advantage of them at new.
Indeed, Treyarch explained that it was forced to remove this possibility quickly due to a risk for the stability of the game. Thus, the studio is currently testing “a way to correctly implement this change in a future update”.
In fact, you can already benefit from your double XP tokens obtained in Modern Warfare III and Warzone in Black Ops 6.
How to use Warzone Tokens for Black Ops 6
- Depuis le Call of Duty QG, lancez Call of Duty : Warzone
- Start searching for a game, regardless of game mode
- Press LS (the left stick) to access the menu and activate your level, weapon and battle pass double XP tokens
- Cancel your game search and backtrack to Call of Duty HQ, then restart Black Ops 6
- From here, you will see at the bottom right of your screen that your tokens are active for Black Ops 6
So, by using them, you will be able to advance your level, that of your weapons or the progress of your Battle Pass twice as quickly for a specific duration. This is excellent news that should delight those who have accumulated a lot of tokens in Modern Wafare III and Warzone.
As a reminder, Season 1 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone brings its share of new features, with new maps, brand new weapons and of course brand new content for Zombies and Battle Royale.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 as well as PC via Steam, the Windows Store and Battle.net. The title integrated Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from its launch, as well as PC Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
