Hautvent is always a headache

Questioned during their visit to the show, the two thinking heads of the project were able to confirm that the scenario of Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 had just been completed, which allowed the project to enter its production phase. This was not yet the case a few weeks ago since the studio was already waiting to see feedback from the community regarding the direction taken in Rebirth.

In other words, the project is progressing well but Kitase raises the existence of a challenge already mentioned many times, that of Hautvent. In the Final Fantasy VII original, this ship allowed you to travel the entire world map without constraints. But transcribing that today with the immensity of the open world that the remake wants to set up is quite a challenge. Kitase declares as follows (comments collected by 4Gamer):

« Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth featured a huge map, but in the third game Highwind will appear, so we need to let you experience the world from a higher angle. We won’t cheat with the airship system, but we will challenge it so players can fly freely around the map. »

When the team finds a way to properly integrate this ship, there is no doubt that Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 should get people talking about him a little more. If only to give his name.
