I introduced my previous column by saying that 2024 was undoubtedly the year of the reissue or revisitation of a good number of board games. In this same vein, I come to talk to you today about “King of Tokyo Duel”. As you will probably have already understood, this game is a version for only two players of the famous dice and combat game of the same name.

But we must underline the intelligence of this new opus which offers several victory conditions, tense games and a perfectly renewed playful pleasure in each game. In “King of Tokyo Duel”, you will roll dice to try to obtain (after three throws) the combination that suits you best. Bring glory, destruction, or directly attack your opponent to knock them out. A tactical, chaotic, and quite brilliant dice game, for games lasting around twenty minutes.
