But for some time now, Xbox has been hiding very special, unique promotions dedicated to the connected profile. Here's how to find them.
Unique and different Xbox promotions depending on the players
Xbox offers three types of promotions on its games:
- Promotions available for everyone without conditions
- Promotions dedicated to Xbox Game Pass members
- Unique promotions for each player
It is this last case that interests us here. When you browse the Xbox or Microsoft Store, you may come across offers with a pink “just for you” sticker on the game sheet. These are these unique offers which often offer a price much lower than the current promotions.
We don't know exactly how the Microsoft algorithm that determines the price based on profiles works, but the fact remains that the offers are quite attractive. Rather than coming across them by chance, there is a way to find them all, here is how to do it.
- Select the dedicated Xbox Store icon from the Xbox menu
- Select “Offers” from the “Home” tab
- Scroll down to the “Special Offers” list
- Check out “Just for you” promotions
In our case, we came across Assassin's Creed Odyseey in Gold edition which was offered to us at only €10 instead of €99.99. With another editorial profile having an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, the game is offered to us at €79.99. That’s €20 less than the standard offer, but still €60 more than the “just for you” offer!
In other words, these “just for you” offers really offer us lower prices compared to the prices usually offered, and depend on the connected profiles and gaming habits of each of them.
