Communication around Avowed is accelerating and today we discovered that Obsidian's next big game will be playable via a rather unexpected platform.

Avowed will be playable via Battle.net

As we can read above, PC players will indeed be spoiled for choice since they will be able to enjoy the game via the Xbox application on Windows, but also Steam and even more surprisingly Battle.net, Blizzard's platform .

To make it easier for players to access, Avowed will also be available for pre-order and purchase on Battle.net, Blizzard's PC platform. Additionally, Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscribers will be able to play Avowed on Battle.net by linking their Xbox and Battle.net accounts.

Obsidian has also confirmed the minimum PC configuration required to be able to play the game, and the least we can say is that it is rather reasonable since the title requires a minimum of 16 GB of RAM, a Ryzen 5 2600 or an Intel i5-8400 as well as an RX 5700 or a GTX 1070.

The recommended configuration is obviously a little more muscular and will require more efficient hardware, especially if you want to take advantage of ray tracing. Note also that an SSD is required on all configurations.
