You probably already know this, but Nintendo wanted to remind you: don’t let your pet pee on your Nintendo Switch console.

It was with a publication on X that the company made this strange warning:

“If you leave your Nintendo Switch unattended, it will become a toy for your pet! In no time, it will be covered in slime…”, we can read, according to our translation. “Pet saliva and urine can damage the console due to water infiltration. If you have pets, be sure to choose carefully where you drop off [votre Nintendo Switch]».

Oh ben.

I admit that I leave my Nintendo Switch Lite lying around on the couch sometimes. I don’t know if my cat Tofu enjoys drooling on it during the night. But, I don’t think he poops on this one…at least, I hope so. Otherwise, we need to talk.

The advice is good for other liquids, too. Can of Mountain Dew, Falls, tears. Avoid all of this if you’re carrying around your Switch.
