So there are only a few hours left to collect Deceive Inc. and the Apex Legends pack allowing you to recover Ash for free on the Epic Games Store. From 5 p.m., the platform refreshes its offer of free games, mainly with a truly monumental collection of eight games. Get your whip ready so you don’t miss this, or she might turn into a bat and run away on November 21.
Epic Games Store bares its fangs for its new free games offer
The most notable offer of new free games of the week on the Epic Games Store is undoubtedly, as you may have understood, Castlevania Anniversary Collection. Developed and published by KONAMI and released in 2019 on the occasion of the group’s 50th anniversary, it allows us to (re)discover the first steps of an emblematic video game license, both through its rich and fascinating universe and through its iconic action-platformer gameplay. This includes no less than eight games, as well as a unique eBook allowing you to go behind the scenes of the fight against the all-powerful Dracula.
Castlevania Anniversary Collection includes more precisely the very first game of the license released in 1986, until Bloodlines released in 1994. It also allows you to play the radically different Kid Dracula, which remained a Japanese exclusive until the release of this collection. Here is the detailed list of games and additional content that you can get this week for free on the Epic Games Store:
- Castlevania
- Castlevania II Simon’s Quest / Belmont’s Revenge
- Castlevania III Dracula’s Curse
- Super Castlevania IV
- Castlevania The Adventure
- Castlevania Bloodlines
- Kid Dracula (never released in English before)
- History of Castlevania – Book of the Crescent Moon
Another free game to complete the collection
This delightfully retro collection dedicated to Castlevania isn’t the only offering this week, however. It is accompanied by another free Epic Games Store game, which also serves as a collection: Snakebird Complete. This time it is a puzzle adventure game developed by Noumenon Games, published by Astra Logical and released in 2023. More precisely, we are entitled here to a pack including Snakebird and Snakebird Primer.
As the name of the license suggests, we need to control birds behaving like snakes for food. The gameplay is therefore largely inspired by the iconic retro game Snake, with a little twist and a hundred levels that will give us as many knots in our brains as knots in our birds’ stomachs. This complete edition, however, incorporates various quality of life elements for an optimal experience, as well as accessibility options to give us a helping hand where needed. These are therefore games clearly for all audiences, notably with a cute, simple and effective artistic direction, all without spending a penny currently on the Epic Games Store.
Waiting for the next wave of free games
These two collections can therefore be collected for free on the Epic Games Store from 5 p.m. until November 21 at 4:59 p.m. They will then be followed by a new arrival of free games, which will also be made known at 5 p.m. We will therefore try to keep you informed of new developments on the Epic platform in this regard in due course.
