A wireless surveillance camera designed by AppleApple and integrated into theecosystemecosystem of the brand in 2026, this is what the analyst specializing in the brand’s supply chain, Ming-Chi Kuo, mentions in his latest report. Leaks around the brand usually take place via companies participating in the production chain in China. This time it’s Goertek who usually manages the acoustic components of theiPhoneiPhone. The company has apparently locked down its supply request to assemble these cameras. This camera IPIP wireless would be designed to be integrated naturally into other Apple products.
The analyst suggests that Apple plans to sell more than 10 million of these cameras per year once they are released.
Wireless cameras integrated into the Apple ecosystem
It must be said that the market for home IP cameras is huge. It amounts to 40 million units per year. Apple therefore has the ambition, ultimately, to reach a large part of its customers to capture a quarter of these sales. For fans of the brand, Apple’s ecosystem should help make the camera a tool perfectly integrated with theIAIA home and Siri.
Will it be a HomePod with an onboard camera or an independent camera? 2025 should already provide its share of answers. The analyst also assumes that Apple wants to release AirPods integrating more health-related features by 2026.
