Members of the Varennais Amateur Meetings around IT (RAVI) held their general meeting on Thursday, November 7 at the cultural center. The opportunity for Jean-Claude Gaignon, president of RAVI, to review the thousand and one ways of using laptops, to push further the knowledge of the possibilities of your smartphones and to go even further with the artificial intelligence. Indeed, the time is long gone when we were content to know how to “Skype” with our grandchildren or even send a simple email.
The two animators, Michel Bocage and Yoane Goberot, have relegated ancient practices to a sort of cybernetic Middle Ages. Now, mastering Excel is an exercise for beginners. This year, the focus will be on exploring Windows tree structures and the Google Lens and Google Earth applications.
To do this, RAVI now meets every Tuesday (except the first Tuesday of the month) and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the cultural center.
You just need to bring your own PC to solve your own computer problems, the solutions of which will obviously benefit everyone.
The annual contribution has been set at €25, and €40 per couple.

After exploring the mysteries of IT, the time came for RAVI members to sacrifice to earthly foods and gather around a friendly buffet.
