If you're a subscriber to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, or simply purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, then chances are you spent a good portion of your weekend playing multiplayer or Zombies to take advantage of the double XP bonus, still active until Tuesday, November 5 at 7 p.m. Paris time. Precisely, with the arrival of Nuketown this weekend, many players have railed against one of the three combat specialties.
Good news, Treyarch will modify the Pathfinder specialty
In Black Ops 6, it is possible to equip three assets simultaneously, or even four with the dedicated Joker, thus allowing you to benefit from a combat specialty if three assets are of the same color. The blue specialty, called Pathfinder, allows you to briefly see enemies through walls each time you respawn.
In recent days, this specialty has been getting a lot of attention, particularly because it is seen as an authorized wallhack. Indeed, using it on small maps, like Nuketown, is particularly formidable, to the extent that it allows you to defeat enemies without them even having the slightest chance. The video at the bottom of the article clearly illustrates the phenomenon.
We tried this specialty ourselves in the Nuketown Hardcore playlist, allowing us to kill enemies in one or two bullets just by shooting at silhouettes separated from us by a thin wall, a barricade or a bush.
Many players express their dissatisfaction and hope that this combat specialty will be reworked by Treyarch. Luckily for them, Matt Scronce, Associate Director of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, has confirmed that changes to the Scout specialty are coming soon.
