The production company behind the concepts of Big Brother, MasterChef et Survivor has just acquired the world rights to the Quebec show Atypical Criticismdeveloped and produced by Pixcom (Indefensible).

The series broadcast AMI-télé features autistic people who invite themselves to the tables of great restaurants and unfilterly criticize the cuisine of their chefs, often renowned.

In addition to sharing their opinions and comments on dishes, food critics also offer tips to chefs to improve their customers’ dining experience, with a blend of humor, spontaneity and authenticity.

“We are delighted to see Atipyque Review achieve global distribution through our partnership with Banijay Entertainment. The show thrives on the dynamic interaction between acclaimed chefs and our autistic critics, where diverse perspectives meet culinary mastery,” said François-Étienne Parent, Vice President of Content at Pixcom.

In 2022, Banijay’s Asian division, Banijay Asia, had acquired the rights to the series Vertigoalso produced by Pixcom, to be adapted in India.
