“System Settings” accompanied by a new icon for Siri with macOS 15?

The magazine Apple Insider make sure you know that the System Settings app will change with the update to macOS 15. The order of the menus installed in the left pane could in particular be modified, Apple preferring to bring together security settings or even raise the position of general settings in the list. The options for sound and notifications, on the other hand, could be located lower down.

At the same time, our Source of the day estimates that Siri could get a whole new icon. Be careful, however, because this would not be the one found for example in the Mac Dock. Indeed, Apple has decided to offer a shortcut to access the voice assistant settings directly from the macOS menu bar. However, this interface only allows you to display icons in black and white. It is also rumored that the Apple ID could soon take the name “Apple account“, at least in English at least at the beginning. With a modification of the associated text which appears at the top left of System Settings, of course.

Apple is also reportedly planning a significant feature makeover AirDrop. This relies on Wi-Fi to transfer files very quickly from one device to another. Finally, know that iCloud settings would also be revisited, but unfortunately we don’t know much more at the moment.

When will we be able to discover all these changes?

It is very likely that macOS 15 will be unveiled at the same time as iOS 18, during the Worldwide Developer Conference.
