The 256 GB ESD310C is identical to the 1 TB version we tested. When looking for a portable SSD, we generally opt for a model that is both fast and easily transportable. This model perfectly meets these two criteria. Transcend has succeeded in designing a model that is as compact as it is fast — its flow rates are among the best at the moment. Flawless!

From a performance point of view, it’s hard to fault Seagate’s Game Drive PS5. The SSD is fast and its heatsink is very efficient. If it is marketed for use in a PS5, it is obviously possible to install it in a PC. It is perhaps this PS5 license which gives it a high price compared to the competition, the only real criticism that we can make of this model.
