Another subject raised by the magazine: the question of the recyclability of capsules. To ensure this, three pieces of advice are formulated in this sense: favor brands committed to recycling, moderate consumption, particularly for capsules rich in fat, and remain attentive to new, more ecological alternatives emerging on the market.
Some good news, however: “no pesticide residue was found among the 51 references analyzed,” writes 60 Millions de consommateurs. With this point of vigilance: “roasting eliminates pesticides but, on the other hand, it has the disadvantage of forming polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)”.
