As part of its 25e anniversary, the legendary Nokia 3210 will make its comeback. This new version of the phone would benefit from an LCD screen and a relatively efficient photo sensor. And of course, the Snake game will also be on the trip.
After the Nokia 3310, the Nokia 8110 (the “banana phone”) and the Nokia 6310, the company HMD Global is preparing to unveil a new redesign of a legendary Nokia phone. And this legendary phone is none other than the 3210.
Launched in March 1999, the Nokia 3210 significantly contributed to the democratization of mobile phones and has sold no less than 160 million copies. The recipe for this success ? A horizontal screen, a powerful photo sensor (for the time) and a legendary game: Snake. Many of us have spent hours handling this little pixelated snake and a sense of nostalgia has now set in.
But good news for the most nostalgic, the Nokia 3210 will soon make its return. More recently, the Finnish reseller Giganti released information regarding this redesign of the 3210. Thus, the 3210 version 2024 would be equipped with a 2.4-inch LCD screen and a 2Mpx camera. The device would also benefit from a 4G connection and a long-lasting battery. The Snake game would of course be integrated and the price of the phone would be set at 89 euros. We can finally note that two colors would have been chosen for the rebirth of the 3210: blue and yellow.
If this information has yet to be confirmed, HMD is preparing to formalize the reissue of the 3210 in the coming days. In any case, it will soon be possible to play Snake again on a 3210. Let’s hope that the solidity is also there.
