The only turntable in the JBL consumer catalog, the Spinner BT is characteristic of the brand’s philosophy. Design and modern, it presents itself as a pragmatic and fairly affordable product.

Despite its affordable price, the JBL Spinner BT ticks almost all the boxes for a good turntable. Its construction is of good quality, its settings are sufficiently numerous, and its technical qualities have almost nothing to envy of more high-end references. Only its semi-automatic design could put off some users.

Strong points

  • Detailed sound without exaggeration.
  • Scalable platinum rich in settings.
  • Sober and serious design.
  • Ease of use.

Weak points

  • Quite bulky.
  • Limited automation.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

Elegant and refined, the E1 Phono is a well-designed manual turntable. Without being the most complete or the best finished, it provides a sufficiently mature experience for the vinyl lover who does not want to break the bank. If it is not technically perfect, this model remains pleasant from a sound point of view.
