The iPhone 16 is only 6 months away when the first rumors about the iPhone 17 arise. This isn’t just any rumor, since it’s a brand new iPhone!
Obviously, Apple seems to be having trouble with the naming of its second iPhone. First named “Plus”, it then transformed into an iPhone mini before returning with the name “Plus” in 2022 with the iPhone 14. If the iPhone 16 range should indeed include an iPhone 16 Plus , it is the generation after that should experience another major change.

In terms of what’s new for 2025 models, we expect Pro models to be slightly larger than other base products. Only the Pro Max model would benefit from a titanium frame and all four iPhones would have a 24MP front camera. Finally, there would still be no question of a camera under the screen, but rather of a very small punch under the screen of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The other three models would keep the small pill.
