A recent leak exposed in detail the specifics of the Google Pixel 8a, from technical characteristics to pricing strategy in Europe, particularly in France. The information, leaked via various posts on the social network . He has even already been photographed.

According to the latter, the Pixel 8a should be equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2,000 cd/m², protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This device , weighing 188 grams and measuring 152.1×72.7x 8.9 mm, also includes a security system combining an under-screen fingerprint reader and facial recognition.
What performance and configuration for photos?
At the heart of the device, the Pixel 8a runs on the Tensor G3 chip, which is potentially underclocked compared to its more robust counterparts, the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. It offers 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and will be available exclusively in a 256GB UFS 3.1 storage configuration. In terms of photography, the Pixel 8a carries over the dual camera system from its predecessor with a 64-megapixel main sensor and an ultra 13-megapixel wide-angle lens, both presumably supplied by Samsung and Sony respectively and backed by optical image stabilization. The European market will see the Pixel 8a priced at €549. In addition, it seems that the brand is planning a trade-in operation for an old phone with a bonus that could amount to an additional €150, which would make the mobile available at a very reasonable cost of €399.
