You certainly didn’t expect to see Xiaomi and Apple team up to create a connected stroller! And yet, this is indeed the case.
Xiaomi has marketed a connected stroller equipped with an Apple chip. The stroller in question is equipped with an Apple U1 chip, which uses ultra-wideband (UWB) radio signals to communicate at short range. Using this technology, the stroller can be geolocated and tracked using the Apple Find My app.

The Apple U1 chip uses ultra-wideband (UWB) radio signals, which are more efficient than Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to communicate at short range. Using this technology, the stroller can be geolocated and tracked using the Apple Find My app. You will therefore be able to know where your stroller is at any time, and be alerted in the event of loss or theft.
But that’s not all: the Xiaomi stroller is also very compact and lightweight. Once folded, its dimensions remain at 63 x 58 x 38 cm and it takes up less space than a carry-on suitcase, which makes it extremely practical on a plane. It weighs only 6.8 kg, making it easy to transport and maneuver.
Finally, it is important to know that the stroller is made of high-strength aluminum alloy in the frame, the parts responsible for supporting the weight are made of high-quality carbon structural steel and the four-inch wheels are made of polyurethane, they have individual padding, they rotate 360º and even have a lock so that the cart does not move if we want. Suffice it to say that this stroller is designed to last and withstand the most intensive use.
So, of course, it is possible to buy an AirTag and stick it to your stroller to geolocate it. But Xiaomi’s stroller offers much more than that: it is compact, lightweight, made from high-quality materials, and equipped with an Apple U1 chip for precise and reliable geolocation. It is only sold in China, for 2099 yuan, or approximately 280 euros. It is not given.
