You have the Coco Look, you have the Look that sticks to your skin! The French brand is launching its range of electrically assisted bicycles for those who like sporty cycling. They therefore announce the release of an E-Road as well as an E-Gravel. The E-765 electric bike range from Look will delight bike enthusiasts who struggle a little uphill. What’s better than a trendy bike to look good with your friends?
Look electric bikes: two bikes for two disciplines
Rather road, paths or both? The two versions of the Look E-765 start with good common bases: the frame and the engine. The components are different. The frame has a fairly classic construction, although with a downtube on steroids. You had to put the battery somewhere!
“Our team spent many hours optimizing the frame to perfectly integrate the engine while maintaining the maneuverability and agility that characterize all our bikes.“, tells us the manufacturer from Nevers.
The frame is designed with the new 3D Wave concept. The goal is to facilitate the natural flexing of the carbon to reduce vibration. The seatstays have notably been flattened in certain places to promote comfort and grip. Both models will have room for tires up to 45mm wide and the frame is compatible with suspension forks. In short, they haven’t been idle at Look.
An invisible engine, but very present
The Look E-765 electric bikes will be equipped with the Fazua Ride 60 motor. Small feature: it is almost invisible. You almost don’t see it because the integration into the framework is so successful. You don’t even need to justify yourself anymore, you can tell everyone that you are “very fit at the moment“. No one will suspect deception!
The engine still promises a range of up to 120 kilometers for around 1,500 meters of elevation gain. The Fazua engine is intended to be progressive and fluid, with a fairly large adjustment capacity.
Le Look E-765 Gravel
The electric gravel version of the E-765 will be released with a SRAM Apex AXS groupset in single chainring, Fulcrum E-Racing 900 wheels and Touareg tires from Hutchinson. The paint is sober, between green and brown, with the brand logo proudly displayed on the diagonal tube. The price of this bike is announced at 6990€.
Le Look E-765 Optimum
The road version of the E-765, called Optimum, will be released with a SRAM Rival AXS double chainring drivetrain, Look E-R50D carbon wheels and Hutchinson Sector tires. The color is a blue that tends towards gray.
Unlike the gravel version, Look announces for its Optimum a very contained weight of – drum rolls: 12.9 kg. The price is less contained. And yes, Watts’ winnings are paid for!
