The PlayStation Network has no longer worked since early Tuesday morning. Sony says it is working on the problem.

No Fortnite or Call of Duty this Tuesday morning. Since the night of Monday to Tuesday, October 1, PlayStation 3, 4 and 5 consoles have been affected by an outage preventing online game modes from working. More specifically, the PlayStation Network (PlayStation online network) has stopped working for several hours.

In addition to the inability to play online, this bug also prevents you from purchasing video games in digital format on the PlayStation Store, or from carrying out game updates. Some titles also require the player to be connected at all times: again, they cannot be launched until the fault is resolved. The evolution of this can be followed on the official PlayStation Network website.

PlayStation Japan customer service said in a tweet posted around 4 a.m.: “PlayStation Network is currently unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are investigating to restore the situation, thank you for your patience.”
